I like my trap doors but 30"x30" is tight with backpack on. Last ones we built use two sheets of 4x8 plywood. Off set blind to leave deck for side entry.

Its called teardrop pallet shelving. Comes in different heights (up to 24'+) and widths. You can find it used on CL often. Light, sturdy, and can be put up with one guy. Used 4 cross peace's and two 12' uprights cost my $240.

Wow that's pretty high! All of my permanent blinds are 8ft to platform. Very seldom get busted often have deer within 5yds of blinds.

My blinds 6' tall get silhouetted through the tinted windows. 12' tall get by with quite abet more movement. I would like 360 view but late season does seem to pick up any movement.
