well if it helps for $40 you cant go wrong with one :shrug:

 

I heard they are kinda blurry sometimes and they have a 30 second delay so you have to put one facing down a trail and the night pics are bad.:shrug: But for 40 bucks....go for it.

My dad has the Ir4 that was on sale for $80 and we have had pretty good luck with it. We bought two of the $40 dollar flash one and one more $80 ones.

 

Can't go wrong for the price, J. I have one of the 1.3 flash cams and it works like a champ. Sure, the picture quality isn't great but it's 1.3mp. Battery life is terrible with the 4 C cells so I converted mine to run off a 6volt battery. Can't really complain at all for the price.

 

The batteries don't hold up well. There is a thread on Archey Talk that fixes that problem though.

 

I guess I'm going to have to go see how to convert them, cause I went ahead and picked one up Friday at BPS when I went up to catch my pony express from Cass Co.

It's pretty dang simple to convert them to run off a 6v. I think even a simpleton like you can figure it out!!

Sweet I guess I just ned to run down to the wal-marts for some jumper cables and Aluminum foil

 

I bought one myself and have it out right now... We'll see how she does:cheers:
