I got mine the other day shipped from Wyvern Creations. I have got to shoot it two diff days. About 40 shots so far. It has about the best balance of any crossbow i have owned. Its compact, its lite, its a crawfish model :). You need to be aware of how to **** it so you won't have any trouble. I have my vx1 2x7 Loopy on it n sighted in at 30 yds, will use high n low aiming

Very nice. The pictures I see online make them look nice and compact. That is a far cry from the Horton I used back in 1999. Is Wyvern the go to place to buy a crossbow? I see their name mentioned a lot. After next weeks Dr appointment I might be in the market for a crossbow.

I got my Horton Storm there, could not find a better deal anywhere, and he threw in a doz. bolts with field points and a pkg of what ever broadheads you want in with it.

Heads up after shooting this crossbow for several days, don't purchase it at this time. The ****ing sled is the pits n thus accuracy is very poor. Until they design & have a Vendor make a much better sled. I have a $900 piece of Wall Art to admire in my string room.

Lets say i was abit bent when i wrote the previous post. The sled is not good too much play. It will work but it causes more learning curve trying to do this n that correct. I shot alot yesterday n keep under 2" groups from 10 yds to 35 yds

I think it's a quality bow but has some issues going on that keep it from being at tack driver. As Vixen said the current sled is to wide and sloppy, the string serving is too small, and the cable slide needs work to keep some vanes from hitting it. The problem has been poi shift and repeatable shots. I'd wait for these issues to be corrected before buying.

I am honest here the crossbow is a great light platform. I would not buy one yet. It has 4 issues they are trying to fix. 4 issues is too many, as it stands i would not try to hunt deer past 15 yds with it. You maybe like me & others on a fixed / low income. Putting this much cash into a model that not going to hunt at this time. Is like buying Wall Art, just hang it on the Wall n look at it. Many of the DS models went out with the wrong string on them, that is fixable. Almost every ****ing sled is wrong n junk. They are going to redesign/fix but they are fixing to lose thousands of samolians on that screw up. The trigger latch has too much gap allowing the nock to move side to side. The stock screws are in a bine, don't line up with the rail/frame mold insert holes. I am more frustrated with Jim & Rex at Scorpyd for trying to hide stuff than i am about the issues the crossbow has. In fact they have made me change my mind abou buying a 2nd Scorpyd DS. I don't want one of their 10 lb boat anchors

I hope the 1st issue will be fixed. They are sending me a new string. Also its the correct one. So when it gets here i will change mine out to the new one by using a slave string. No press needed

Wondering why Scorpyd would release a bow like that? Known for being one of the best out there. Seems so many are in a hurry right now to release the fastest and greatest that they are forgetting what got them to where they are.

Just my opinion, the model at the ATA was not a working model. So then the Dealers start giving them large quanity orders to be filled. Then they had several set backs, the late April release date came n went. Then May n June, they ended up shipping before they had the bugs worked out. Plus their string Vendor messed up alot of strings sent that were not correct.

I had to send my DS back to the Factory. They did not test mine, i assume they jus put my Custom stock on a new one n sending it back. It got to Factory at 10:13 am n by noon i had an email from UPS said they would deliver my DS on thursday

I am positive they put my stocks on a new one n shipped out while the UPS driver waited loadin up more that were shipped

If'en yer stock is Custom they will put it on another platform. If'en its all Factory they will do their thing n fix it

They have not sent yer DS back yet ? I knowed they had most a 1000 sold or more. Then these issues rose up n bit them in the hiney. I won't ever buy anudder new crossbow on the 1st yr model again. Ispect they will either fix yers or put all of yer stuff on a new platform. Right now i don't have the time to fool wid mine when it does come back. I have started my Fall/Winter firewood cuttin & splittin. I need 4 cords to make it til middle of this comin May. I have only one cord done

You would be surprised then, last yr was a warm winter very few dustings of snow. We had a 14 degree mornin was the lowest n that was nice. Our water barrels will freeze 5-6" thick on top fer days
