Well, if it's as you described..... Low end $700, High end $1000.

That's just a ball park estimate. In the end, it comes down to how bad someone wants it.

This gun, is pretty nice 1100 12ga from era as your gun, watch what it sells for. That'll give you a good idea.

You will see some people tryin to sell guns like this for over $1000, but I also don't see them selling.....

I have looked at that gun it has a rust spot on it and minor scuff marks-Mine has none of that. It is in much better condition.

 

I have one in a magnum. Pristine shape. Thought about selling it.Seems they were going for around $800 when I was researching.

 

I sold a 3'' a couple of years ago,with a 30" mod and a 26" with screw chokes for 500.00

 

Friend of mine just bought one today with a 30in full for $500.

 

Just an fyi....those magnums will not cycle your regular 2 3/4 inch field loads. A few of the high brass 2 3/4" will cycle. I have both versions.

 

This is true, mine has the 30" full choke. I have won several shooting matches with it and you have to cycle out by hand.

 

If his gun truly is in As-New condition, with only 25 shells fired from it.....

Realistically, he can probably sell it for $700-850...... Maybe not on MWT, but on an auction site like GB.

If it's in a more used condition price will drop considerably. It's funny, but having the box will always help sell a gun like that on an auction site.

Problem with 1100's like that, they are limited to 2 3/4" shells, which for most people makes it an upland gun. 1100's are fairly heavy for upland guns, which makes them less desireable. Sub guage 1100's are the ones that pull a premium, if it was a 410, 28, 20 or 16 gauge, you can double or even triple what you will get for a 12gauge.

 

Is the barrel ribbed?

 

This makes a huge difference in the value..... I assumed it was, but if it's not.... You can knock $200-300 off the value.
