I'd say hunt it

 

i hunted it years ago and never saw another hunter i hunted down by the new lake

 

bennet gets tons of pressure, it's gonna be tough for sure.

look at hungry mother wildlife area, much better than bennet.
hunt the west side of it closer to the bottoms, long drag but good hunting.
that place is uphill both ways, but not a lot of hunters.

unless they changed the regs recently hungry mother is muzzeloader or bow only.
which makes it even better imo. good turkey population as well.

last year during rifle season there were two campers there.

One of our members who doesn't post much anymore, used to hunt Bennet every year with some sucess. Ole River moved to a flatter area to hunt when he got a couple of years on him. I used to stop by his camp and chat, and he always had new deer stories to tell.
