In the blind is the youth allowed to have a shotgun and a rifle for either deer or turkey?

What if they are using a shotgun? Can they bring slugs and turkey loads?

Is the youth allowed to have a bow and rifle?

"Anyone hunting turkeys during the fall firearms turkey season may not be in possession of both a firearm and a bow."

Fall firearms turkey hunters can not have "shot larger than No. 4 (in use or in possession)".

Both statements are taken from the fall deer and turkey regulations booklet. Therefore: you can not have a shotgun and rifle or use slugs for deer and shot for turkeys because the slug would be considered "shot larger than No. 4". You can not be in possession of a shotgun with shot and a bow because of the first statement. There is no rule prohibiting having both a bow and rifle in possession so the youth can do that. Trying to hunt turkeys and deer at the same time would get them in trouble though.

Good luck to all this weekend!
