Nice bird team mate.
My biggest was 27lbs 1 7/8 spurs and a 11 in beard.
My next biggest was 25 lbs 1 1/2 in spurs and a 13 in beard.

24 lbs and some change. Probably 97% of the gobblers I kill go between 19.5 and 22 lbs. I only hunt in Missouri though. I hear they go a little bigger up in Iowa.

First ever tom harvested and it waighd 23 3/8 pounds had 10 inch beard and 1 and 1/4 spurs. was spring 2005 on the april 23rd 9 50 am

man you all have killed some big ones. my first bird ever is my largest, 24.5lb 11 1/2" beard 1" spurs. down on the current river back in '83. and to this very day my best all time hunt experiance ever bar none. here's to all the past and hopefully future big birds :wink4:

27 1/2 lbs, 12 1/2" beard and 1 spur 1 1/2" and the other 1 3/8". I am personally looking for those limb hanger spurs and not weight or beard length, unless it has 3 or more beards.

I will add most of mine have also been in the 20-22lb range and a few lighter. Running into big heavy birds after the first couple weeks of breeding is hard to do. Unless they are lazy.:D
