Young yellow lab free to good home

This dog showed up a week ago on our doorstep and I've put up signs and made FB posts on all the local groups but nobody has stepped up.

He appears to be pure bred golden/yellow lab but without papers who knows. I'm also not an expert. He has had some house training, is extremely mild mannered, used to cats and other dogs and is a really nice young dog.

The vet thinks he's around 3-4 months old and I went ahead and got him all his first round of puppy shots (not rabies), flea and tick treated and wormed. He is not neutered and still had dew claws.

I've debated keeping him and I will if none of you guys want him but I don't need him and really not sure I want another dog. If any of you are interested I'll get him to you.

Great looking pup. I have a 4 month old lab myself right now. Hope he finds a good home.

Part of the reason I set Duffy up with Bo was selfish on my part. Duffy(in picture) who is retired, texts or calls me all the time, I mean all the time. Sometimes he yaks and yaks and yaks. So I figure if I found him a dog he would not text/call as much. Well, so far that has not happened. Now he text pictures of him and his dog (Bo) and like this morning he calls and while he is talking I hear this sqeaking noise, it is Bo playing with a toy....sheeesh
Duffy's wife told him he did not need another dog, he previous one passed away from old age. But she has bought several bags of treats and takes him walking every evening...

Where's the flathead from? Doesn't look like local waters I'm used to!

Smoky Hill River in Salina Kansas, thre is a water fall right there. should have seen that last Wednesday, they had 8 inches of rain over night just south of there, it was really roiling... he is actually 40 feet above the water, as no way to get down to it, Fishing with 12 foot poles and big Penn reels. He is one of those catch and release kind of guys

Just drove through there yesterday. I need to make a trip to Milford..

Milford is still 20+ feet above normal, the guides and locals have not been catching many if any blues lately. Which is why Duffy has been fishing the rivers . They are catching a lot of wipers at Milford right now.. I know the guides are on facebook with daily updates

Bo named after Greg Compton's dog Bo, who Duffy said was amazing. Greg Compton was a paramedic that Duffy worked with for years.

He has learned how to open the cooler and get some ice cold water to drink, but has yet to learn to get a Diet Pepsi for Duffy out of the cooler
