Yellow perch!

    This was the first one I've ever caught and man do they fight! This was as long as the state record, but not quit heavy enough. The perch was 14 and the crappie was 13".[​IMG][​IMG][​IMG]

    Nice! I've caught them up North before but never in the states.

    That's a nice fish. I've caught them in Ontario and in Minnesota too but never have caught one in Mo. They are good eating.

    They have them in Bull Shoals Lake.

    Used to catch them by the dozens as a kid in Lake Huron. Saw one when I was real little come out of Cedar Creek in Dade County. I think they may have tried them in Stockton Lake when it was built and Cedar Creek ended up with a few of them for awhile.

    Bull shoals is full of big ones I hear. And there are folks researching raising them in ponds a_la tilapia. Looks like somebody got some put in a big private lake. Nice. Best eating there is.
