knockemdeadd I am going to say that the dog is free unless you want the paper then it is going to cost to get him

I have had a couple full blooded dog that was not papered and was told that I could have it free with out the papers or X amount of dollars with papers

Either the pooch has papers or he doesn't. That is ludicrous and somewhat suspicious to operate in that manner.

Maybe I misunderstood the add but I thought the dog was free without the papers and it was your choice if you wanted to spend the money to register him or not. The guy wasn't going to give you the dog and pay money to register him

You can buy dogs or cattle or anything else like that, that are not registered but are pure bred and are eligible to register if you want.

The way I see it if you're not going to sell the dog or use it to breed there is no need to spend the money to register it.
