I don't know where all of the deer went in one week. Hunting in St. Clair county on our farm and between 3 of us, we saw 26 opening day. I hunted all day yesterday and saw one doe that my wife scared off...:stickfight:
Haven't seen any chasing, scrapes have not been freshened up after the hard rain last Sunday. Anyone got any helpful hints?

Our farm is 240 acres of timber w/3 acre plot of beans, 2 acres of winter wheat/turnips, and 1 acre of clover/chicory.....(hunted woods in the morning and wheat that night and one yearling...

Yep, from what I have seen the mature deer have the does locked down in the thick stuff. Jumped a couple of nice ones out of some really thick crap in a clear cut. 3 bucks had one doe bedded down. 2 of them were shooters.
