Wow, they are gettin with it!

    Just had a minute or two to check in, just wanted to let you all know that the birds are flat out getting with it!

    Went out the morning and heard more birds than I could count. Did a little driving and glassing and saw a total of 27 adult gobblers out in the fields strutting, fighting and doing the things gobblers do this time of year.

    Had one group of five locked up strutting in the middle of the road not 100 yards in front of me at one point! :rotfl:

    Looks like the yutes are gonna have it good this weekend! :cheers:

    Well, if it makes you feel any better Mac, my camera was not WITH me this morning! :mad2:

    It was awsome though! Might try it again in the morning. :cheers: (And take my 35mm wiff me through the advice of a friend.) ;)

    Yeah......and I might as well shoot with the 35 mm......since the photos might be developed and back to me before my puter is fixed and back to me! :D

    I saw plenty of birds this morning myself but nowhere near what DSG saw. Im taking a friends son out saturday morning to see if we can connect. let hope the toms keep strutting in the same place for hte next couple days..:dancin:

    Kurt was this down south or up north? Probably doin' it all over the state I suppose. I do know they are getting with it in Jackson county.;)

    i've been seeing more big tom's than i have in a long time. we had a good hatch a
    few years ago. been thinkin about dustin off the big gun and going after one
    during big kids season. its been a few years.
