you can get plenty of good advice here, and plenty BS too. read a few threads and you will find out who are the honorable ones. as for me I hunt ducks, deer on occasion and turks in the spring..

I don't scare easily. I am quite amused actually by the banter and interaction. Thanks everyone for the welcome. As I get acclimated to the boards and posting, I am sure you all will be a great resource for all of my hunting questions. I have had no teacher, guide or insruction. I am learning it all as I go. I know how NOT to do a lot of things that pertain to a successful hunt. Lol. For instance, I know how NOT to use a tree climber. Lol.... that's quite a story.

:welcome: Welcome to MWT. There are a few gals on here, and several fellas that like to brag on their wives. I'll second what Henry said on the MDC events. I went to one of the Womens Turkey Seminar/Hunts and it was a fun time.

I love hunting with my wife. And my sister loves to hunt to. My daughter is only 6 and she loves to go with me. I'm definitely one of those mentioned that like to brag on my wife and family. Welcome

I have yet to hunt ducks. Went pheasant hunting in Kansas last January. Loved it! I am obsessed currently with deer and turkey.

Welcome. If your obsessed with deer and turkey...warning....if you add ducks to the equation you will have no free time left in fall and winter...
Just a fair warning! Good luck in your hunting!
