Anybody do any good catfishing for blues in the winter time on the Osage below Bagnell down to the Missouri? There's a few deep holes along the river I've been dying to try out in the winter time. I'm hoping the blues stack up in there and I can dredge up a hog.

I don't usually fish it in the winter but there are some good holes behind the wing dams we fish in the spring and summer up in there

Yea I have a few holes that I found this summer that I wanted to go out and graph come winter time when I get around to it. They were really deep compared to everything else I found.

What do you do for bait when fishing in the winter? I've never had luck with getting shad on the Missouri and tried asian carp, worms, and live/cut perch. I've got a pretty good supply of suckers right now due to gigging and thought trying some of them out.
