I’m on Leonard wood for drill this weekend and decided to shoot off a little interesting Mark Twain for a quick evening hunt. I’m set up and will keep you posted. I hiked out and pretty much immediately found several scrapes in the timber. Here goes nothin!

Not tonight. I found a ton of rubs and three or four good scrapes and kind of set up just off of that sign. I didn't see a thing but the sign looks really fresh. If I get out early enough tomorrow I'll try it again.Is no news good news?
Why not hunt Ft Wood? I have seen a lot of whoppers there when I was there.
You have to check in and all this rigamarole. That's not my style. Plus I like finding little hidey holes. For example, this piece of the Twain could only be accessed from the post on two sides and private on the other two sides. I parked from the fort side and hiked in a ways.
