so i take my wife out hunting opening morning, (bow season is for me gun season i guide her).we were setup over a 5 acre field surround by woods. i let 4 acres grow up and put out a one acre foodplot.around 7:30 we had a big lone doe feed across the top edge of the foodplot she got setup on her but decided she wanted a good buck or nothing, not 5 min later this guy came out following the path she took across the foodplot.i tried grunting and whistling but finally just had to yell to get him to stop long enough for her to make the 120yd shot.the 257 roberts barked and off he ran with a broke front shoulder into the woods. we found him 75 yds into the woods.the shot was a tad forward and didnt exit so there was no bloodtrail only what he was coughing up. this is her 5th deer in 5 years and the 2cd nice shes killed in my old honeyhole less that 30yds from my bowstand. lucky for her i had tagged out early this year bowhuntin:cheers:

[rquote=1495313&tid=104391&author=archer66]Very nice...is that a sticker next to the right browtine or is the browtine split. Good looking buck.[/rquote]
its a sticker. i had quite a few pics of this buck on trailcam. the sticker was always a dead giveaway as to which buck he was.
