Well i got the enjoyment of sitting in the box blind wiht my son and wife at my freinds house in Dittmer MO. My freind and his wife watched our little one for us.
We dint see any deer, but got to spend sunrise to sunset with each ohter in the blind.
My freind and his wife who are past 60 got the joy of fallowing our 1 year old around who is walking normally now and walking perty darn fast. He is also climbing on anything he can get his fingers on.
After we got back to there house and my freind was writting the check out for the scout pop corn they had baught. They asked my son how much he ahd sold totally. 709.00 dollers was his repsonce the hiest seller once again 2 years in a row. He also comented that he sold the most pop corn support the trops for his pack. She inquierd what that was, He said ppl could buy pop corn for the trops serving over seas. He then aded that he hopes when he is in the Marine Corps that some one thinks to buy scout pop corn for the trops and lukilly he gets a pack.
She asked him, Ryan why in the wourld would a 8 year old already be thinking of going into teh military? Is your daddy making you chose that path already, just like mhe makes you sit in the deer stand all day? He replied, Grandma Judy: My daddy does not make me sit in the deer stand all day. My daddy is not forcing me to think to go into the military. I am going to go into the Marine Corps becuase my daddy was in the Marines. But I going to go into the military becuase every one should serve our country.
It braught a tear ot my eye. At times I often wonder if my son listens ot me so caught up in other thigns that he is. But to know that he at this age does agnoledge the nead of service to our great country gives me hope for its feuture.
Grandma Judy is no relation but it is the closest my son has to a grandma and grandpa from my side. It normally tikels her pink when he calls her Grandma Judy.
Digi camera is not working untill we get a new batery. Darn thing dint last long at all. I should of braught my game cam camera wiht me instead of wifes digi camera.
