this pic musta been summer of 84 or so
me little sis granddad and granny went to see grand dads uncle in CO
he was a great fly fisherman and took us to grape creek a small mountian stream full of trout. i still remember that we had to wade back and forth across the creek between the canyon walls and i was so small granddad had to hold on to me to keep the current from taking me on a float trip
to this day one of my top 3 favorite fishing memories

yeah crys i was a cute guy not sure what happend to be honest.
i am sure your little gal will have some good memories too just take lots of pics for her.

center punch that GMC has a 292 stright 6 with a granny low 4 speed and 3:73 if you can find a big enough hill you can get it to 70 but its about ready to blow. but you slap it down in low and it will pull 80ton out of the steepest hole you can find ;)
granddad bought that truck new in 84 paid cash for it i remember him counting out 100 dollar bills for it. off course it cost alot less than the 20 to 30 k you would have to have today

Truely AWESOME pics, don't have any pics of my grandpa taking me fishing, but we went a lot, he is the reason I love the outdoors so much. Hats off to all those grandpa's out there, you make little boys and girls dreams come true!
