Just curious how much added gun pressure has been added.

I have yet to go back out with a rifle, but plan to tonight.

I checked the bottom box....Gots a freezer full of meat!!!! I do, however, plan on killin more with the ML, when that season rolls around......I know right were a nice patch of standing beans are, along with standing corn!!!!!

Just wish I still had a buck tag!!!!!:wave:

I've got the boys on deer, but we just have not been able to seal the deal yet. The VECtor Inspector had his first hunt with his own gun and own permit the other night (thanks to Bricky!). We had deer at 40 yards, but just couldn't quite get everything together in time for a shot. We may try it again tonight.

The second youth season ought to be really good to us. :claphands:

Not taking advantage of the doe season this year. The county that we live in is not an open county and we are staying off the lease til muzzleloader season. Sure would like to put the smack down on one with the encore though.

For some reason Polk Co. got pulled from the bonus season. I'm still seeing plenty of does but the harvest #s from previous years must have exceeded some MDC threshold. So, no bonus season for me.

Shot a nice mature doe on Thanksgiving evening. Will probably go out again the next 2-3 evenings to fill last doe tag.

Gonna go stack up a doe or two this weekend. Lord knows I can't thin a few out of the herd. When you see 18 does in one field, you know you might have a few too many around.

Dummie question (is too lazy to look it up) about this late season though, do you have to buy an additional permit or can you fill a leftover from fire arm season?

I planned on hunting the doe season, but the plans didn't work out. My shoulder's been bothering me, so I decided to back off and wait until muzzleloader season, to see how it's feeling then.

Sure would like to blow some smoke!

I'm definately bowhunting the 18th and smokepoling the 19th. (I think lol)
