Got two options to mount a red dot on my Charles Daly now. Kinda leaning towards the Cantilever style but i dont know if the scope would be close enough to my eye. what do you all think bout these options.

Never scoped a thunderchicken (and have only managed to see giant hens in spring) but I'd agree with Porter...

I don't think you will have to worry about the red dot being to far from your eye. My son shot one from a mechanical rest for a period after his acident, and it had the scope a foot and a half from his eye. He shot it real well with no problems.

I have a Bsquare on my 1300 no issues. I also have the red green dot which is really nice in low light .
