Just saw a thing on the news last night about scotch pines and disease that's going around in this area. I'd say any of them are going to get rubbed on when they are the right size unless they're protected.
i have both white and shortleaf pines. They both are growing well, but the white pines are prettier. The deer do like to rub on them. I have scotch pine too, but most in the area are dying.
