I want to go deer hunting near St. Charles which is about 30 minutes west of St. Louis county. Can anyone tell me where is a good public place? I am willing to drive up to an hour at most ideally. Do I need a hunting license? How long does that take to get? I'm 20.

Ummmm......hopefully You have taken a Hunters Safety Class so You can buy a Deer Hunting License, unless You qualify for an Apprentice License? It only takes a minute or so for themn to run a Hunters ID/Conservation Card to get your license printed up,then be sure to sign your name to it before Hunting....there's a $50.00 Fine for not signing your tags!:whinging:
