Where did they go

I have a new property and was getting a lot of pics around beans including some nice bucks. About 2 weeks ago pics dropped off. We have beans and neighbor has corn. My thoughts are they moved to corn or maybe they figured out we were around? Havent pushed bedding at all so I think the corn has dried and they are on it. Any ideas? Maybe movement overall is just down.

A storm came through and knocked whiteoak acorns out on my place a couple weeks ago.
Pics on my place are pretty scattered and variable this time of year, and virtually zero bucks. Come late Sept - Mid Oct the fellas always show up. They always come back.

You got the food and cover, you neighbor has food and cover, his neighbor has food and cover. They move....plus they may be taking a slightly different path and not passing in front of your camera.
Use to have a old buck on the farm that never used the same trail 2 days in a row. Would get a picture of him every 8 days but he was in the field every evening. So one morning after I watched him leave the field I slipped in the field and put a camera on every trail leading into the field and started getting a picture every day. I never did kill that old guy but it was a fun chess match.

Mine have done the same. I was getting some nice bucks and now its does and yearlings the last 2 weeks. But as Henry has mentioned I did notice some acorns on the ground this past Sunday.
Welcome to mid August. Summer patterns are on the shift.

Bring on the shift; I haven't had a decent buck on camera yet. I'll be happy, as long as I can keep the ladies entertained; I know where he'll be soon enough.

Patterns are starting to shift, different food sources are becoming available, or EHD got them all...
I agree that it's that time of year! I'll check my cams for the first time of the season this weekend to take inventory of what's around. That's what summer cams soakings are about for the most part.
I am having the complete opposite problem, this last card pull was great lots of day walkers and on a regular basis on beans next to corn!

Same. Haven't had a picture of a buck for about 2 weeks. Time of year I suppose!
Probably why the buck pictures dropped off...I have one that shed his velvet already.

I am still getting some buck pictures. No daylight pics and not as many decent deer. They are coming out around 9pm and heading back around midnight. Edit. oops. The first pic is a july pic. I had 2 from the same cam with the same number that I saved and it didn't keep the current one because the file name was already used.

I am in the same situation. Mid to late July my cameras were busy with bucks and does. Now it's a handful of does and yearlings. Even the turkey have dissappeared. Trying to think past it. I've got plenty of food and cover with little pressure on them. I always get nervous this time of year with now season just around the corner. Be safe everyone

That is an over achiever. Probably sheds Nov 15.
