Whats your thoughts on Her

    You think she is a old doe, not in good shape,
    she has something wrong with her or just stressed
    from having her fawns,
    she was near the farm close to the road I did a drive by
    got the camera out and took a few pics on the way back by,[​IMG]

    she looks to me like she is older and just dropped, her overall demeanor looks healthy...what ever that means:roll2:

    Looks like she has that baby fat after delivery.

    She looks mature, but I don't think she necessarily looks unhealthy. My guess is that she recently dropped a fawn or two which are nearby. You didn't appear to be a threat, but she doesn't want you getting too close to her fawns. Just a guess. :shrug:

    Older doe that has a couple of fawns near and is in the process of loosing her winter coat and is a bit thin from nursing. Ticks are a factor again this year. Most of what you are seeing on the deer are flies and not ticks. There may be a cut or scratch on her mid side that has flies drawn to it. You can see them in the photo. Give her three or four weeks and she will be in better shape.
