I am currently running four rigs for predator hunting. First, a Browning BAR Lightweight Synthetic .243 with Baush & Lomb Elite Series 3x9x40. It shoots everything very well but absolutely loves the 75 gr. V-Max in factory or handloaded form...

A Remington Model Seven Predator also in .243 caliber with a Leupold VX III 3.5x10x40. This one is more fussy about what it likes but does shoot well when it wants to. I like the 85 gr. Sierra HPBT GK and it does a fine job on predators. Actually that bullet works fine on deer also, but predators here...

Shotguns work exceptionally well in the Ozark timber. My 12 gauge Benelli M1S90 Camo Turkey gun with a Kick's choke and either Federal Premium No. Four Buckshot or Remington Wingmaster HD BB's...
