Those phrases you are sure to hear when someone comes back with nothing after a morning in the blind.

1. Xnumber of birds, there were not X number of birds in that place. I only saw like 20 birds, there is no way there is Xnubmer of birds in the other gazillion acres of CA ground/refuge.

2. The group next of us was skybusting our birds while working.

3. Birds wouldnt fly cause its cloudy

4. Birds wouldnt fly cause its sunny

5. Not windy enough for the birds

6. I shot my limit but gave away all the birds to a homeless man, PICS?, oops, I conveniently forgot, sorry

7. Joe Bob's bad calling flared the birds or we would have shot a limit.

8. The duck parks stole all the birds and held them in the refuge.

9. I know I shot that bird, I better go buy a new choke and some $30 for a box of 10 heavy shot

10. Must have been a ninja goose(don't laugh, they do exist)

oh you didn't find my easy button, i was simply stating a fact, heck between telling the dog to sit and you to stop calling or stepping on a squirrel, whatever that noise is, i am suprised we ever kill a duck. however you did get that old pintail hen to sit real pretty on the water in front of you before you arkansas her hind end. you duck killer you.:rof2:

i guess i coulda fell asleep in my layout blind but you were snorin' too loud
i got tired of watchin all of the ducks "work" our decoys then land on the other end of the pool
instead i walked to the other end of the pool, along with & at BDM's suggestion, & punished a few of them
i bet BDM woulda been standin beside me in the brush had he worn his waders

bottom line, i put ducks in the truck!
whether it be by waitin for them to come to me or if i have to go to them
at least you caught up on your beauty sleep

you're dang right, took me two naps at that. ducks weren't working well anyway. at least i was awake to see you waterswat that pintail hen though. that was sweet. bout as hard as shootin deer with a rifle. oh and bdm was just going to get birds up from loafin, not that you heard that as soon as you saw someone get up you started running like forest gump towards the birds. he's fat, he can't keep up with you.
