for ducks what is a good shot size to use? BB, 2, 4 what?

depends.....i like to use 2's but if i am shooting ducks that arent decoying all that well i prefer a faster load one that i dont have to lead the bird as much.

2's do the job for me... 3's are all one of my good buddies will shoot.

Anything close to that range should do the job.

:cheers: Either I like 2's or my gun likes 2's. Either way, I've tried a lot of different sizes in the last year, and I'm stuck on 2's now. :cheers:

Anywhere from 1's to 3's. I've always shot 2's in the past. I'm trying Kents 1625 fps load in 3's this year. Its knocking then down fine, but I've found a lot more pellets in the breast meat this year compared to when I shoot 2's. Some times ill even move to 1's for those late season mallards that are all fattened up on corn.

Pick up a box of Heavy Metal #3's. I had success with them. All solid kills.

Are you shooting 3" or 3.5"? Go big or don't go at all

I'm a big fan of the 3 in. # 1's out of a modified. they're not always real easy to find though.
