I have done the opposite. Been turkey hunting, set my gun against a tree when I started finding mushrooms. Got to hunting mushrooms and before I realized it was about 200 yards from gun, yeah, one gobbled between me and my gun.

Four dead turkeys. Two in Missouri and two in Kansas. I would like to kill three in one day.

If you leave a crossbow unattended, it's liable to wipe out all the turks on your farm.

I'd like to travel to turkey hunt just to much going on that time of year ... Hate to think any crappie would get away while I was gone !

No doubt , just south of Pinwheels there is a camo bow setting against the tree . Been there for 25 years , poor guy looked for that thing for a month, lol

shoot two turkeys, shouldn't take more than two hours, then mushroom hunt, and catfish

After shed hunting and scouting a bunch and running cams I should have the birds pinpointed haha. I'm picking up lots of cobblers on my cams lately and got a few named and ready to shoot

Most likely Ill be in the hospital or on call/watch for early ks bow and MO opener. Ill probably hubt the 2nd and 3rd week in MO then kill ks birds. I planned to do CO merriams this spring but I doubt the wife would be thrilled about that this year....

KS, probably Iowa, maybe MO. 6 year old says he wants to shoot one, so if that remains true then my plans don’t really matter and we will plan everything for a solid youth outing or two.

Start off with my 13 yo son and missouri youth season, head out April 11th for Nebraska youth season with him, adult season opens on that Saturday, then back to Missouri for opener. The last 3 years, it' worked out good. 20170415_162532.jpg
