The green five gallon pail is still there.
Foot of new snow. No high temps at 50 for next five days. Snowiest april in recorded history. MN crappies are safe for now. MO turkeys should pay attention later this week.
It's been ridiculous...
I've hunted turkeys in the snow before....they still gobble and respond to calls.
This extreme cold spring is a result of Global Warming..... ask Al Bore.
When it was snowing here yesterday I said to my wife "So much for Global Warming" and she corrected me with "Its not that the earth is getting hotter each year but the fact is that there are dramatic changes in all of our seasons we are used to having in past history."
And I said..."What ever!....It's still snowing in mid April."
"Its not that the earth is getting hotter each year but the fact is that there are dramatic changes in all of our seasons we are used to having in past history."
Brevity:: Earth will continue doing what she does.
There isn't much Man or the US can do about it... the earth has been going through phases long before "we" came along, and will continue to do so long after mankind is gone.
When was this?
It has nothing to do with global warming, more along the lines of global cycles.
Agree! I've had this discussion with coworkers and they blame hairspray...lol
Or cow farts...
Low-wattage brains tend to forget the tens of millions of bison the cattle have replaced....
Maybe the bison didn't fart?
I love this weather! I been shed hunting this whole month and even went tonight again usually I'm done with the vegetation getting to tall or seeing to many snakes but not this April yeeeehawwwwwww
15-22 inches in the Twin Cities area over the two days. 11th biggest snow event in the Twin Cities in recorded history. 1 more inch and would have been in the top 5. 50 degrees predicted for Saturday. Leaving Wednesday after work for my place in MO. Can't get here fast enough.
At least we don’t have the snow!! Nice weather will be welcoming you.
I hope so. Now I looks like another foot of snow for southern MN, northern IA on Tuesday and Wednesday. Might have to postpone trip til Thursday after work. Cant catch a break.
Whereabouts are in MO are you headed??? County?
South East corner of Gentry county.
I have too. It was a freakish snow. We had been having more normal weather to that point. My brother and I both killed birds that morning. It was in the 80s.
