Set up the invite for a couple folks this mornin and pops was supposed to go with me, but his back was hurting so he wasnt able to go. swmo and oml couldnt make it either, so ended up just meself.

I had scouted out a waterhole that birds have been using for a week.

Set up layout blind, few doz full body mallets and a few doz floater mallets.

Climbed in blind and 5 til 7 the show began.

For a solid 30 minutes every 30 seconds or so group after group of mallards came sailing in. 3's 4's 5's upto 15 at a time, very little calling was needed.

Over my shoulder they came, sucked around hit the wind and sailed in..

I stoped counting at 247, all landing 10 yards from layout blind

Ahhhh I love working ducks.
