Well the Whack Shack crew did it up in fine style for another opener managing 4 limits. We had a nice mixed bag of ducks, greenwing teal, shovelers, pintails, mallards, gadwalls, widgeon, and one we think is an immature redhead. Hunters today were missouri10x, jaybird, Boogan1, and his two sons Bryan and Zane age 3. Someone slept through his alarm clock this morning (10x) and we had to scramble to get things set up for shooting time. But after we got settled in it didn't take long for the action to start. I don't know if it was the excitement of opening day or what but none of us shot worth a hoot but we had plenty of shells and plenty of ducks. Lots of missed opportunities as ducks snuck in on us and managed to escape unscathed. Our setup is a little scant as the place we needed to be dictated we set up on a mud flat but with enough willows we just looked like a willow clump. Its hard to hide on 500 yards of bare mud but we did it! Lots of pics and lots of awesome memories from this mornings hunt. Boog

Somewhere in a waterhole along the missouri river.
