Its been a long season and lots of memories made, many deer seen several decent bucks passed on and several photos taken. Basically gave up my entire duck season chasing a good deer only to blow the chance with my bow when he finally screwed up and let me get the opportunity to have a chance. He will truely be a good buck next year as I believe he is still there. I hunted every moment I had including several rainy days like yesterday and this morning and never saw him again but now it is over for me as the holiday commitments and work will tie up the rest of ML season and the first week of Jan. I do plan to get out a couple more times with the bow before the season ends maybe a miracle will happen.

Anyways its been fun and this was the first time since 1994 that I took 2 fall birds with my bow.

Merry Christmas to everyone and a safe and Happy New Year.

Been a fantastic season here as well, definitely in the "home stretch". Only thing I haven`t done is taken one with the ML I bought, but I only went out once. Hope to ML hunt one more time, and maybe bow 2-3 more times. Met some people on here that run dogs, and looking forward to chasin wabbits.

This board has been such blessing, I look forward to trying my hand at shed hunting, as well as rock hunting, and if I`m able to learn 1/2 as much about those as I have learned about hunting from you guys, I think I may actually no longer be in rookie status on those 2 this time next year! Merry Christmas ans Happy New Year to all!!
