Got some bad news today. Seems that a guy from my hometown who now lives in WA state was flyfishing on Easter after having dinner with his wife, slipped on a rock and knocked himself out and drowned. A bystander saw him go in, but was too late to make any difference with CPR. Please watch your step when you are out in the field because we all know anything can happen.

Could happen anytime.. sorry to hear that!

Especially watch out where fast running water and chestwaders are combined.. I had a friend go down in very fast water, didnt think much of it and before we knew it, his waders were full and he was downstream, around the corner and out of my site... Scared the living daylights out of me. Luckily, he was able to get his footing and crawl to the bank... shook us both up for the rest of the day.
