Guys if you see a sign that says payment unit in national forest land they are not just marking there borders like they say. They are selling off the trees i went up sun. for the first time since last dec the tree i use to climb is now a stump. I was so surprised to see a road down the top of the ridge i use to hunt a real good road well i am going to look around close for another spot. Just look out and make sure you have a back up plan when they appear.

Gonna be hard to get high enough on that stump to hunt! Hope you find a good tall tree that does not have a chainsaw after it! Thanks for the heads up.

Nice heads up. The only time I lost a stand was when the conservation department cleared out trees to restore prairie chicken planting soybeans. Who knew prairie chickens enjoyed soybeans:stickfight:?
