This disease has been found in the western states, and it looks like KS is the gateway to the east. Please share this with as many people as possible to hopefully contain the spread and not have anyone take infected wood east. :cheers:

Why can't something like this infect honeysuckle?

Its crazy the amounts of diseases/insects that have attacked many of the US's forestsr. I'm sure it is only going to get worse.

That would be my guess too. It will get worse before it gets better. :stickfight:

That's Ned Tisserat (late of K-State) doing that work. I believe it's only been found outside of walnut's indigenous range.
But you're right... raw wood should NOT be moved any more. Like taking firewood home from the lake, etc. Too many evil diseases and critters have moved just that way.

So far it has only been found outside the original range...I would like to see everyone not take any chances though as it could be devestating to walnuts across the country. :cheers:
