Took off the first week of bow season and waiting for Friday is about to kill me. I can't wait to get in the stand. It's supposed to cool down first of next week.

Anyone else get like this before the opener?

I do, but then I think about the heat and the skeeters and that calms me down. It supposed to be in the 80's Fri.Sat.Sun. :cool3:

I'm with jwolf on this one, I get all excited and then between sweating my :***: off walking to the stand, and all those buzzing noises in my ear once I'm on stand It doesn't take long to lose my excitement. Unless I'm seeing lots of deer and then it's different:cheers:

Oh ya I am the same way. I have been out setting in different stands and setting on the field edges for the last 5 evenings and 3 mornings. It kills me to have the darn thing walk under right now.
