Rob taught so many guys how to build those Kara style layout boats......mine is from his plans as passed on to my good buddy Denny F. Denny must have built 8 or 10 of them over the years including helping me with mine.

Shanks guys had some layouts that they trailered down the levy and slipped into 1C after the party left one day when I was hunting 1D. It’s been over 10 years. Not sure if those were private or government owned. Can’t remember if one of the guys drew in or not but they definitely had better access to the 1C
