Very interesting reads. I'll probably rub some folks the wrong way, but as a scientific minded individual I find it likely humans can, and likely have been, infected. TSE's are incredibly unique in their resistance to everything we've ever been taught about killing and eradicating disease and organisms.

So what do you make of this article? Almost makes it seem like it's no big deal and no one got hurt...
I'm definitely not a doctor, but if you read about CJD it takes years for symptoms to manifest. I don't know how long they monitored those people, and human tests for CJD are very invasive (spinal tap). I don't think they'd ever know from a short sample looking for classical symptoms of disease.

My 2 cents

The OP is a page right out of alinsky's rules for radicals. Sad to see in the hunting community. This level of propaganda is more fatal to the hunting community than cwd itself.
I think you have to be careful what you read and consider the sources. If you believe everything, then you're correct, you'll probably be led astray. With that said, CJD and vCJD are real in humans and try as hard as you wish to dismiss, are prion based conditions that are very similar to the TSE form's in other animals on this planet. There likely isn't close to enough real, peer checked, valid research to prove a definitive link between any of them or any of the claims made about cross-contamination between species.
