My brother and I made it back from TX last night. We hunted in north TX from 12/13-12/17am. All in all it was a great trip, except for the wind and weather. We'd planned on primarily bow hunting, but 30+ mph winds and 20 degree temps made it pretty difficult for the first 3 days. We saw over 150 whitetails (4 giant bucks that would score +150), 68 turkeys, 32 hogs (in one group), 1 bobcat, 1 yote, quail out the whazoo, and 1 armadillo.

I started the hunt off by harvesting a mature doe the evening of 12/14 (on video).

My brother shot another mature doe the morning of 12/15 (on video).

I shot this huge hog the evening of 12/15 (296 lbs).

My brother finished off our hunt with another mature doe on the evening of 12/16 (on video).

That dillo tried attacking us in a ground blind! My brother wasn't going to stand for it, so as you can tell it lost the fight with the 30-06.

Does only on the ranches we hunted. I wasn't about to pay $3850 to shoot a buck!

No meat wrecked when you shoot them hogs in the ear and easy tracking!
