My turnips growed up and now have pods on them look like small bean or pea pods, are these the seeds? And what should I do? Bush hog? Disc? Wait? thanks......
Crappie, I disked mine under and planted sunflowers, I bet the tops would be very tough for the deer ..are they hitting those tops?
Im a newbie at turnips others probably do different..
We try not to let our rape or turnips go back to seed. We don't have many survive the deer grazing normally,,but this year we have some carry over (thanks acorns) If it does'nt rain, I'll be discing mine under this weekend.
