  7. WOW... Some great scores posted this year! Our team tagged out and didn't even make the top 2! Great job everyone. Thanks to all the sponsers, I-55 for setting it all up, and everyone for participating. It was another fun contest!:wave:

    Thanks for putting this on, it put pressure on me to go get all 4 birds. 2 in Ks and 2 in Mo.
    I think Mofarmboy may have beat or tied me with his first turkey for the longest spurs if he would have measured correctly....

    this is the way the spurs should be measured, just like antlers using the outside curve. Most of the pictures on the contest page show the spurs measured perpendicular to the leg, which would cause the measurement to be less then it actually is. Mine are that way as I was trying to hold the leg and tape measure with one hand and camera/phone with the other.... yours looked as long as mine per your picture, I used the measurement I posted with the pictures

    yep, outside curve. There were some other measurements that went the other way, I just don't have time to go through every picture nor do I want to call anybody a liar
