got bird number two on saturday. he wasn't the biggest bird on the place by far but he put on a really good show. I acuattly let him walk off once wasn't going to kill him then I got practing my calling and after calling him back and woking him and playing with him for about 45 mins i decied he was worthy of the frying pan:rotfl:
after i got him on the ground and up on inspection i found a couple weird things
he only had one spur....and for those of you with cattle experience it was like a scur. meaning it wasn't attached to the bone but only the skin......you could just grab the spur and and shake it never seen that before. also his legs were almost pink and not dark like most.
the bird was 22 1/2 lbs and had a 9 1/2 inch beard. just a nice little bird.
