Truman too flooded

    Will Truman be to flooded to catch crappie this afternoon or the next few days? We caught some Friday night

    His video is on Truman and talking about "punching" his jig thru the debris and then he catches a large crappie on camera.

    A buddy and his son are fish8ng below Truman dam and have several crappie in the last hour.

    Yes.....but some days if I go down to do some manual labor (mowing) I stop by the dam on the way home and try some bank fishing for grins.

    Has been my experience that crappie bite poorly on a raise ...1000 x better on the fall !

    Lol his sister caught a few nice crappie and I landed a few too. Still fun just didn't realize it would be that windy!

    Was there last week and crappie below the dam were biting good then. Lake was slow after the storms but I managed to catch a 6 pound walleye.

    Fished below the dam yesterday and caught a bunch of fish it was a blast. Caught a giant crappie on a big eagle claw spoon. And several nice hybrid. Lots of whites

    Dropped about a foot over the weekend buddy of mine was at Shawnee bend ramp for a bowfishing tournament and said there was a crappie tournament weighing in there and lots of good fish being brought in !
