Does anyone trap for **** anymore? Growing up my cousin and I used to trap **** every winter that was back before the price dropped on them. I still have a bunch of traps and one of these days I am going to take the kids out and trap some ***** to teach them how to do it. We sure used to have fun doing it! There are so many **** these days it should be hard to trap a truck load if you wanted to. I see ***** all the time. I guess there arent many people trapping them or hunting them anymore.

since they aren't worth much and gas is so high ,really hard to justify trapping them.Shame thou ,as they are getting too thick and mothernature is going to step in with distemper, rabies, and other such goodies to take care of the excess.

For the past 5 years or better **** prices were very good....well at least worth trapping for the money. This year the prices seem to be going the wrong way...and would be a great time to show the youngins how to trap. Take your time and have fun! Good luck!

Oh and there is still a few trappers around....more than you would think :D

The last time I set any traps was 10 years ago. My wife had never seen it done so I took her down to a little creek off of the lake and we set 10 water sets. The next morning we ran the traps and had 8 nice *****. I took the video camera and got some good footage of them in the trap. She said this trapping is too easy! I just laughed and told her its not this way all the time.
