I prefer to run traps in the morning, but will and have ran traps in afternoon/evening. I have noticed if your land trapping and daylight hits coons will fight the trap harder and chew more. they'll still be there though.

You guys keep trapping and posting. I trapped for 20 years but simply don't have the time it takes to do it well. You fellas keep me out on the line, thanks!!

full moon always seem to slow down coon movement.Seems like that brightness puts all the prey animals to a disadvantage so they just don't move much.

I've been averaging 4-5 coons a day and last night only had 2, but been running the same line since monday so I figure I got most of the stupid ones from this line, gonna give it 2 more checks then monday will be a long day as I'll pull this line (south line) and run my west line for a week. I have 3 lines maped out and I rotate through them as it seems if I give it a couple weeks break the animals get stupid again.

:whiteflag: I can't imagine how much harder it is to trap than run trotlines. You guys are hard core with those long lines. :bowing:
