I recieved a pair of wildview xtreme2 and I've been practicing on the family dog here in the house, and all is going well. I was wondering about when i put in the field. How far off the ground, how far from the bait.. stuff like that.

I like to put mine catty corner where they pick up deer quartering to or away on trails. When I put them on bait I like to keep the camera about 15 feet away from the bait to get a good pic in case there are multiple deer in the shot.

I always put mine about 2-2 1/2 feet high, and like letemgrow said, diagonally across a trail,, but straight ahead on a scrape or bait. I usually put mine a little closer on a scrape or corn... Remember you cant put out corn if your still hunting.

Wildviews in my opinion are GREAT cameras for the money... They do have a delay, but as long as it is over a food source, they do fine
