man you are killing some deer is there any reason you are killing this many this season. Don't get me wrong share the harvest is awesome but why just go kill 8 deer in 1 season unless you are really managing some land

No there are a few different farms that I am hunting on all farmed by one of my buddies, he is on a doe killing mission this time of year so I am helping him out since he lets me bowhunt 3 or four of his farms:cheers:

I am hunting several (3 or four different farms within 1.5 miles of each other and )helping out the management efforts of my farming budy that lets me bowhunt these farms. So the harvests are spread out somewhat. the area is managed pretty well trying to take mature deer only and thinning out the does to try to attain a doe to buck ratio closer to 1:1 than it is now around 10:1. Right now its the more does the better. The block im working with has resulted in a 162 in 8 point, my 130 in 9 pt, a 169 in 11 pt, and a 140 in 9pt this fall so far. So its a pretty intensely managed area with neighbors on board.:cheers:
