Well, I went out to the property today to hang a stand I bought at the BPS classic, and took a few pics...

There was a group of 4 big toms in the field when I drove up. They let me stay within 20 yards of them while I was in my truck. I just kind of coraled them to the back of the field where I was headed.

Here's how they were when I first pulled around the corner of the barn:

Here's a little better view of their beards... all of them drug the ground!

The most dominant one... struttin a bit and pushing another tom off of his bugs. It was fun to see them chasing grasshoppers for a few minutes.

And the last one... here's how the mineral lick looks today. The deer seem to have really hit it hard since I last checked! You can see the big hole, which wasn't there when I saw it last...
