Just wanted to let some of you know, there is still some chasing going on right now!! Seen a Good Ol Biggun today dogging a doe. No shot opportunities as it was 150 yards from me, BUT not all the deer are dead or have gone missing. This encounter was at 0930 this morning. This was on public land too. Maybe next weekend.

I just checked the moon guide on my gps. Best hunting time this morning was supposed to be between 8:05-10:05.

Plan to put myself back up a tree a few evenings this week.

My younger brother and our pastor went to our farm the last weekend of rifle season and he said they saw several large bucks 8 pts. and up but could not get a shot at them because the were moving to quick through the timber. So god willing we should have some nice ones next year.
