Went out this morning and had the big buck I have been after breeding a doe not 50 yards from me about a half hour before first light. There was just enough moonlight to see them. He was grunting up a storm and just following her pretty much doing figure 8's. He made some strange grunts that I had never heard before. Real long, drawn out grunts and then the usual clicking right before they top em. Unfortunately the doe led the big one off just before first light. Between 7am and 10am, 9 different bucks cruising in the same area one after the other. Nothing I wanted to shoot since I'm commited to the big one I saw this morning. I will be at it hard until gun season.

You could call it a brothel..LOL I was hunting deep in the timber near a cedar thicket where doe's bed. The bucks like to scent check it during the rut. I'm gonna let the area cool for a couple of days and be back there Sunday. Hope to have a pic for you all of the big un'.
